Goldfinger has always been a band on the brink of greatness, with ska-punk anthems that make you want to dance and shout at the same time. Their latest album, "Hello Destiny," sees them continue down their path of infectious hooks and energetic performances. From the moment the opening track "One More Time" kicks in, you can't help but be drawn in by their undeniable charisma. Frontman John Feldmann's vocals are as energetic as ever, and the rest of the band brings their A-game with tight musicianship and bold production choices. Tracks like "Get Up" and "Handjobs for Jesus" showcase Goldfinger's ability to blend pop sensibilities with their punk roots, creating a sound that is uniquely their own. The cheeky lyrics and catchy choruses will have you singing along in no time. However, there are moments on the album where Goldfinger's formula starts to feel a bit stale. Songs like "How Do You Do It" and "Not Amused" rely on familiar tropes and lack the innovation that some of their earlier work displayed.
