Our Take
Anastacia's "Heavy Rotation" is like stumbling into a 90s-themed dance party in a time-travelling disco ball. With her powerhouse vocals and infectious energy, she brings the sass and the funk in equal measure.
From the get-go, tracks like "Absolutely Positively" and "Defeated" have us grooving like it's 1999. Anastacia's voice soars over the funky basslines and toe-tapping beats, proving she's still got the same fire that made her a pop powerhouse.
But it's not all fun and games. Tracks like "I Can Feel You" and "In Summer" show a more vulnerable side to the singer, with heartfelt lyrics and stripped-back production that pull at the heartstrings.
