Our Take
Elvis Costello and The Attractions brought the heat (wave) to the 1980 Heatwave Festival and boy, did they sizzle! From the moment they hit the stage, it was clear that these rock 'n' roll veterans were here to show the youngsters how it's done. Costello's signature snarl was in fine form as he belted out classics like "Pump It Up" and "Radio Radio" with that trademark wit and intensity.
