Our Take

Uranium Unicorn's latest album, "Electric Jellyfish Boogie Woogie," is a wild ride through a neon-soaked dreamscape of psychedelic sounds and danceable beats. From the opening track, "Space Llama Disco," to the closer, "Funky Robot Revolution," this album is a non-stop party that will have you grooving in your seat and reaching for your glowsticks.

Lead singer Luna Stardust's vocals soar and shimmer like a shooting star, while guitarist Cosmic Ray's riffs pulsate with an otherworldly energy that will transport you to another dimension. The rhythm section, comprised of drummer Saturn Beats and bassist Nova, lays down a foundation of throbbing basslines and infectious grooves that will have you moving your feet before you even realize it.

Highlights include the infectious earworm of a single, "Alien Funk Funkin' All Night Long," which will have you singing along and boogieing down in no time. The instrumental track, "Interstellar Jam Session," showcases the band's improvisational skills and musical chops, taking listeners on a mind-bending journey through a cosmos of sound.

Overall, "Electric Jellyfish Boogie Woogie" is a fun and quirky album that is sure to delight fans of the band and newcomers alike. Uranium Unicorn have crafted a cosmic masterpiece that will have you dancing, laughing, and dreaming of a world where jellyfish really do boogie woogie. So grab your space helmet and get ready to party – this album is out of this world!

About the artist

H

H ailing from the bustling metropolis of London, England, indie pop sensation H has been turning heads and wiggling hips with their infectious tunes. With a voice that can make even the most stoic of listeners shed a tear, H has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Their debut album, "Shimmering Skies and Melancholy Nights," was met with critical acclaim, with Pitchfork noting that H has "a knack for crafting melodies that stick to your brain like peanut butter to the roof of your mouth." But don't be fooled by their melancholic lyrics - H's live performances are a sight to behold. Their stage presence is electric, with frontperson H prancing around the stage like a demented unicorn on a sugar high. And let's not forget about their signature dance moves, which have been described as a mix between a marionette and a breakdancing squirrel. When asked about their influences, H cites everyone from David Bowie to Prince to Taylor Swift. "I just love music that makes you feel something, you know?" they say, with a wink and a smile. So keep an eye out for H, because this rising star is on a trajectory to music superstardom. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be able to say, "I saw H play in a tiny dive bar before they were selling out stadiums."
