BLOODBATH's latest offering, "Grand Morbid Funeral," is like a rollercoaster ride through a haunted graveyard - chaotic, sinister, and oh-so thrilling. This Swedish supergroup, consisting of members from legendary metal bands like Opeth and Katatonia, have once again brought their A-game to the table, delivering an album that is as brutal as it is mesmerizing.
From the opening track, "Let the Stillborn Come to Me," to the bone-chilling closer, "Beyond Cremation," BLOODBATH never let up on the intensity. The guitar riffs are razor-sharp, the drumming is thunderous, and the vocals are pure guttural perfection. The production on this record is top-notch, capturing every spine-tingling scream and skull-crushing breakdown with crystal clarity.
