Our Take
Mick Jagger, the legendary frontman of The Rolling Stones, has taken a break from touring with the band to release his new solo singles "Gotta Get a Grip" and "England Lost." Both tracks showcase Jagger's signature raspy vocals and charismatic stage presence, but unfortunately they fall short of capturing the magic of his earlier work. "Gotta Get a Grip" starts off promisingly with a catchy guitar riff and Jagger's impassioned vocals, but the song quickly loses momentum as it devolves into a repetitive chorus that feels a bit uninspired.
