Witchfynde's Give Em Hell (Expanded Edition) is a rollercoaster of a trip down memory lane, taking us back to the glory days of British heavy metal. Originally released in 1980, this album has been given a fresh coat of paint with some bonus tracks that will have even the most hardcore fans salivating.
From the opening track, "Ready to Roll," to the closing anthem, "Wake Up Screaming," Witchfynde's signature blend of hard-hitting riffs and devilish lyrics is front and center. It's like being transported back to the days when denim and leather ruled the streets, and headbanging was a way of life.
But what really sets this album apart is the level of musicianship on display. Lead guitarist Montalo is a true virtuoso, shredding his way through each track with precision and flair. Meanwhile, vocalist Luther Beltz's howling vocals are powerful enough to raise the dead.
Sure, some may argue that Witchfynde's brand of metal may be a bit dated, but that's all part of the charm. This is a band that doesn't care about trends or pandering to the masses - they're here to rock your socks off, plain and simple.
