Various Artists' latest compilation, "Get Ready for the Countdown," is a mishmash of forgettable tracks that make you wonder if anyone involved actually listened to them before releasing them into the wild. The album kicks off with a jarring cacophony of sounds that leave you questioning if you accidentally pressed play on a preschool music class's performance. As you make your way through the rest of the tracks, you're met with disjointed beats, off-key vocals, and lyrics that make you cringe in secondhand embarrassment.
