As I slipped on my rainbow sequined beret and adjusted my oversized vintage sunglasses, I pressed play on Cathedral's latest offering, "Freak Winter." From the moment the first haunting notes of the opening track hit my ears, I knew I was in for a wild ride.
This album is like a musical rollercoaster, taking listeners on a journey through a kaleidoscope of sounds and emotions. The psychedelic guitar riffs are reminiscent of Pink Floyd at their trippiest, while the ethereal vocals transport you to a dreamlike state. It's as if Kate Bush and Radiohead had a love child and raised it on a diet of cosmic disco and experimental jazz.
