Our Take
Our Take
Ah, Eddie Money, the man with the golden voice and a knack for catchy tunes. His album "Where's The Party?" is a mixed bag of 80s rock goodness, with tracks like "Club Michelle" and "Endless Nights" that will have you tapping your feet and reaching for your hairspray. Money's gravelly vocals provide the perfect backdrop for his fun-loving lyrics and infectious melodies. However, the album does suffer from a lack of cohesion, with some tracks feeling like filler material rather than standout hits. Overall, "Where's The Party?" is a fun, energetic album that will transport you back to the neon-soaked dance floors of the 80s.
Moving on to "Can't Hold Back", Money's 1986 effort that saw him embracing a more polished pop sound. Tracks like "Take Me Home Tonight" and "I Wanna Go Back" showcase Money's versatility as a performer, with his signature rasp cutting through the slick production. However, the album does feel a bit dated at times, with some tracks failing to stand the test of time. Despite this, "Can't Hold Back" is a solid addition to Money's discography, showcasing his ability to adapt to changing musical trends while staying true to his rock roots.
Next up we have "Nothing To Lose", Money's 1988 release that sees him returning to his gritty rock roots. Tracks like "Walk on Water" and "Let me In" showcase Money's raw energy and passion, with his vocals soaring over the driving guitar riffs. However, the album does suffer from a lack of standout tracks, with some songs blending together into a sea of rock cliches. Overall, "Nothing To Lose" is a solid effort from Money, showcasing his continued dedication to his craft and his ability to rock out with the best of them.
Finally, we have "Right Here", Money's 1991 release that sees him exploring a more mature sound. Tracks like "Animal House"
