Debut albums are always a tricky beast to tackle - will they soar to dizzying new heights or crash and burn before they even take off? For Fortitude Valley and their eponymous debut offering, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Hailing from the gritty streets of Manchester, this four-piece band brings a refreshing blend of indie rock with a splash of post-punk to the table.
The album kicks off with the infectious lead single "Grit and Guts," a catchy tune that will have you tapping your foot in no time.
