Tokyo Police Club's latest offering, "Forcefield," is a delightful romp through the indie rock landscape that will leave you tapping your toes and nodding your head in approval. These Canadian darlings have been around for over a decade, honing their craft and perfecting their sound, and it shows on this album.
From the opening track "Argentina (Parts I, II, III)" to the closing notes of "Feel the Effect," Tokyo Police Club weave together infectious melodies and catchy hooks with ease. Lead singer Dave Monks' vocals are as charming as ever, effortlessly gliding over the driving guitar riffs and pulsating rhythms laid down by his bandmates.
