Swiss folk metal ensemble Eluveitie have always had a penchant for blending ancient Celtic melodies with modern metal riffs, and their fifth studio album "Everything Remains As It Never Was" is no exception. From the thunderous bagpipes to the blistering guitar solos, Eluveitie's trademark sound is alive and well on this record.
The opening track "Otherworld" sets the tone for the album with its epic intro and haunting vocals. Lead singer Chrigel Glanzmann's screams are as fierce as ever, while the band's dual vocalists add a layer of depth to the music. The title track is a standout, with its infectious melodies and catchy chorus that will have you headbanging in no time.
