Our Take

Victories at Sea are back with their sophomore album, "Everybody's Lost And All I Want Is To Leave," and let me tell you, this is one hell of a ride. From the moment you press play, you're transported to a world of shimmering guitars, pulsating synths, and anthemic choruses that will have you singing along in no time.

The Birmingham-based trio have really hit the mark with this one, delivering a collection of songs that are both dark and brooding, yet undeniably catchy. Tracks like "Late Views" and "Better For Nothing" showcase the band's ability to create a sense of urgency and longing that is all too relatable.

But it's not all doom and gloom on this album. Victories at Sea also know how to bring the party with tracks like "Ice Data Centre" and "Up" that will have you dancing around your living room like there's no tomorrow.

Overall, "Everybody's Lost And All I Want Is To Leave" is a triumph for Victories at Sea. It's a record that manages to be both introspective and exhilarating, with a sound that is uniquely their own. So do yourself a favour and give it a listen - you won't be disappointed.
