Ah, CONCENTUS VII Et In Arcadia Ego. What can I say about this album that hasn't already been said by pretentious music snobs across the globe? Well, let me give it a go.

From the first track, it's clear that these guys have no idea how to spell "ego". But hey, who needs good spelling when you've got killer synths and a drummer who's more impressive than a three-legged dog trying to do the Macarena?

The album has a feeling of nostalgia throughout, like you've stumbled into a retro arcade and all the games are broken. But in a good way. It's like taking a trip down memory lane, if memory lane was lined with neon lights and questionable life choices.

The whole thing feels like a love letter to the 80s, complete with cheesy lyrics and more synth than you can shake a keytar at. It's like if Duran Duran and Depeche Mode had a love child, and that love child decided to form a band with all the members of the Brat Pack.
