Our Take
ANIMA's debut album Enter The Killzone is a rollercoaster of a record that will leave you both exhilarated and exhausted. The band, hailing from the small town of Frogbottom, have managed to create a sound that is simultaneously nostalgic and cutting-edge, blending elements of 80s hair metal with modern hardcore punk.
Lead singer, Roxy Lightning, has a voice that can soar to the heavens one moment and growl like a rabid dog the next.
