TORCH RUNNER's latest offering, "Endless Nothing", is a chaotic whirlwind of noise and aggression that will leave you feeling both exhilarated and exhausted. This North Carolina trio has crafted an album that refuses to play by the rules, blending elements of grindcore, hardcore punk, and sludge metal into a cacophonous cacophony of sound.
From the moment the opening track, "Into Anguish", kicks in with its thunderous drums and searing guitars, you know you're in for a wild ride. The vocals are raw and visceral, cutting through the mix like a serrated knife. Each song on the album is a relentless assault on the senses, with no respite in sight.
Standout tracks include the blistering "God Knows" and the pulverizing "Boundless", where the band's ferocious energy is on full display. The production is suitably dirty and abrasive, perfectly capturing the band's aggressive sound.
