Our Take
Big Ups' "Eighteen Hours of Static" is a rollercoaster of sound, taking listeners on a sonic journey that is both thrilling and exhausting. The album kicks off with "Body Parts," a cacophony of screaming guitars and pounding drums that sets the tone for the rest of the record. The band's trademark blend of punk and post-hardcore is on full display here, with lyrics that are as angsty as they are poetic.
