Our Take

Let me start off by saying, if you're not yet familiar with the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Pardubice, well, you're in for a treat. This ensemble, under the direction of Stanislav Vavrínek and Vahan Mardirossian, has truly outdone themselves on their latest release featuring Dvorak's 2 Serenades.

From the moment the strings begin to pluck away on the opening track, you can tell that you're in for a real musical journey. The precision and cohesion of the orchestra are truly a sight to behold - it's like watching a well-oiled machine performing a symphony.

The first Serenade is a delightful romp through Dvorak's lush melodies, with each instrument shining in its own right. The second Serenade takes things up a notch with its driving rhythms and dramatic flourishes, showcasing the orchestra's versatility and skill.

But what really sets this album apart is the sheer joy and enthusiasm that the musicians bring to each and every note.
