In a sonic collision of epic proportions, Gnod and White Hills have once again joined forces for Drop Out III, the latest instalment in their mind-bending collaboration series. From the moment you press play, you are plunged headfirst into a swirling vortex of psychedelic noise that will leave you questioning your own reality. The opening track, "Electric" is a frenetic blend of fuzzy guitar riffs and droning synths that is sure to get your head banging in no time. The hypnotic rhythms and distorted vocals of "Eternal Return" will transport you to another dimension, while the relentless onslaught of "Square G by Pop" will have you reaching for the nearest air guitar. But it's the epic closer, "Wasting" that truly steals the show. Clocking in at over 15 minutes, this sprawling masterpiece builds and builds, layering upon layering, until you are completely lost in its mesmerising cacophony. While some may find Drop Out III to be a challenging listen, those willing to dive headfirst into its swirling depths will be rewarded with a truly mind-altering experience. Gnod and White Hills have once again proven themselves to be masters of sonic exploration, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of psychedelic rock.
