DEFECTO's latest album, "Duality," is a rollercoaster ride of musical mayhem that will leave you questioning reality, or at least your taste in music. The Danish progressive metal band have once again defied expectations, blending elements of thrash, prog, and even a dash of disco into a genre-bending masterpiece.

From the moment the opening track kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The soaring vocals of frontman Nicklas Sonne, combined with the intricate guitar work of Frederik Moller and the thunderous rhythm section of Thomas Bartholin and Lars Jensen, create a sonic landscape that is both intense and hypnotic.

Tracks like "Rise," with its furious riffage and anthemic chorus, will have you headbanging in no time, while the epic ballad "Sovereign" showcases the band's softer side, proving that DEFECTO are not afraid to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
