Jesus Lizard's "Down" Deluxe Edition is a raucous rollercoaster of energy and grit that leaves you exhilarated and exhausted in equal measure. This album, originally released in 1994, feels just as fresh and vital today as it did over two decades ago.
The opening track, "Fly on the Wall," kicks things off with a frenetic pace and pounding drums that set the tone for the rest of the record. Lead singer David Yow's vocals are as unhinged and unpredictable as ever, veering from guttural growls to piercing screams with reckless abandon.
