Our Take
Our Take
THUNDER's latest release, "Dopamine," is a rollercoaster of emotions that will have you reaching for your inhaler one minute and chugging a pint the next. This double colour vinyl edition is a feast for the eyes and ears, like a psychedelic dream brought to life.
The opening track, "Last One Out Turn Off The Lights," hits you like a freight train, with Danny Bowes' gritty vocals cutting through the mix like a hot knife through butter. The band's signature blend of classic rock and blues is on full display here, with Luke Morley's killer guitar riffs propelling the song forward with a ferocity that will leave you breathless.
But just when you think things couldn't get any better, THUNDER slows things down with the soulful ballad "Destruction." Bowes' vocals soar over a bed of lush strings and haunting piano, showcasing the band's versatility and raw emotion.
Tracks like "The Smoking Gun" and "Going To Sin City" bring the energy back up to 11, with thunderous drums and blistering guitar solos that will make you want to jump out of your seat and start air-guitaring like there's no tomorrow.
Overall, "Dopamine" is a wild ride that will leave you craving more. So grab a pint, put on your headphones, and let THUNDER take you on a journey you won't soon forget. Cheers, mates.

Fronted by the enigmatic singer/guitarist Rosie Thunder and backed by the powerhouse drummer Tommy Lightning, THUNDER brings a ferocious energy to every performance. With influences ranging from The White Stripes to David Bowie, THUNDER has a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Their music is the perfect soundtrack for late-night drives, dancefloor bangers, and everything in between. In a music landscape dominated by bland pop stars and manufactured bands, THUNDER stands out as a breath of fresh air. With their infectious energy and undeniable talent, this duo is sure to be making waves for years to come. So crank up the volume, grab a cold one, and get ready to be blown away by the thunderous sound of THUNDER.
