Our Take

KISS's "Destroyer" is a bombastic explosion of glam-rock theatrics and over-the-top rock anthems that will leave you both shaken and stirred. From the opening track, "Detroit Rock City," with its unforgettable guitar riffs and infectious energy, to the heavy-hitting "Shout It Out Loud," this album is a rollercoaster ride of pure rock 'n' roll adrenaline.

The production on "Destroyer" is slicker than a freshly polished pair of platform boots, courtesy of legendary producer Bob Ezrin. Each song is a meticulously crafted masterpiece, with layers of guitars, drums, and Paul Stanley's larger-than-life vocals blending seamlessly together to create a sound that is both epic and bombastic.

But don't be fooled by the glitzy exterior of KISS, underneath all the makeup and pyrotechnics lies a band with serious musical chops. Tracks like "Beth" showcase the band's softer side, with Peter Criss delivering a heartfelt vocal performance that adds a touch of vulnerability to the album.

In true KISS fashion, "Destroyer" doesn't hold back when it comes to spectacle. From the demonic choirs on "God of Thunder" to the frenetic energy of "Do You Love Me," this album is a full-throttle rock 'n' roll experience that will leave you both exhausted and exhilarated. So grab your face paint, slip on your leather pants, and get ready to rock out with KISS on "Destroyer."

About the artist

KISS

Ah, KISS - the legendary rock band that needs no introduction, yet here we are, introducing them anyway. Formed in New York City in 1973, KISS quickly rose to fame with their iconic makeup, outlandish costumes, and unforgettable live performances. Known for their bombastic stage presence and catchy anthems, KISS has become one of the most recognisable bands in the world. With their larger-than-life personas, including the likes of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, KISS has cultivated a devoted fan base that spans generations. Their music, a blend of hard rock and heavy metal, is as loud and in-your-face as their signature makeup. From classics like "Detroit Rock City" to power ballads like "Beth", KISS has a catalogue of hits that have stood the test of time. But don't be fooled by their over-the-top theatrics - beneath the face paint and pyrotechnics lies a band of incredibly talented musicians. With Gene Simmons's growling bass lines, Paul Stanley's soaring vocals, and Ace Frehley's blistering guitar solos, KISS is more than just a gimmick - they're a force to be reckoned with. So whether you're a die-hard KISS Army member or a casual fan looking to rock and roll all night, KISS has something for everyone. So grab your platform boots, throw up your devil horns, and join us as we dive into the wild and wonderful world of KISS. Just remember to keep your eardrums intact - these guys don't do things by halves.
