Our Take

NITE FIELDS' latest effort, "Depersonalisation," is a twisted, psychedelic journey through the minds of a group of musicians who clearly have seen a thing or two in their time.

From the moment the opening track, "Depersonalised," kicks in, you are transported to a world of swirling synths, jagged guitars, and haunting vocals. It's like being trapped in a fever dream, but in the best possible way.

The band's ability to create dark, brooding atmospheres is truly impressive. Tracks like "Come Down" and "You I Never Knew" are filled with a sense of unease and tension that is impossible to shake off.

But it's not all doom and gloom on "Depersonalisation." There are moments of lightness and beauty scattered throughout the album, like on the dreamy "Fill The Void" and the shimmering "Winter's Gone."

Overall, NITE FIELDS have crafted an album that is as challenging as it is rewarding. It's not easy listening by any means, but if you're willing to take the plunge, you'll be rewarded with a truly unique listening experience.

About the artist

Nite Fields

Ah, NITE FIELDS. The Australian band that refuses to conform to any genre or expectation. With their dreamy, shoegaze soundscapes, they have carved out a unique niche in the music industry, effortlessly blending elements of post-punk, psychedelic, and indie rock. Led by singer and guitarist Danny Venzin, NITE FIELDS have been captivating audiences with their mesmerizing live performances for years. Their infectious energy and raw charisma on stage are a testament to their passion for music and their dedication to their craft. Their debut album, "Depersonalisation," was met with critical acclaim, earning them comparisons to the likes of My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus and Mary Chain. But NITE FIELDS are not content to rest on their laurels. Their latest release, "Astral Bodies," sees them pushing the boundaries of their sound even further, experimenting with new textures and sonic landscapes. But what really sets NITE FIELDS apart is their enigmatic nature. They are not a band that can be easily pigeonholed or defined. They march to the beat of their own drum, unapologetically embracing their weirdness and quirkiness in a world that often values conformity over creativity. So, if you're looking for something fresh, exciting, and a little bit off-kilter, look no further than NITE FIELDS. They may be the odd ones out in the music industry, but that's exactly what makes them so special. And trust me, you won't want to miss out on what they have in store next.
