Sarah Shannon's Demo 98 is a tantalising glimpse into the untamed mind of a musical genius in the making. The former member of dreamy pop band Velocity Girl has shed her indie past and emerged as a solo force to be reckoned with. From the moment you press play, you are transported to a place where melodies dance like drunken fairies and lyrics cut straight to the heart. Shannon's ethereal voice floats effortlessly over simple acoustic guitar and haunting melodies, creating a sound that is both intimate and otherworldly. Tracks like "Falling" and "Lost in Space" showcase Shannon's ability to craft catchy hooks that stick with you long after the music stops.
