Our Take
Hoo baby, strap in folks, because Ripcord's latest album "Defiance of Power" is a wild ride from start to finish. This punk powerhouse blasts onto the scene with the energy of a thousand angry teenagers at a skateboard park, and honestly, I'm here for it. Tracks like "Anarchy in the UK... No, Wait, Wrong Band" and "Smash the System (But Gently)" showcase Ripcord's no-holds-barred approach to punk rock, while slower numbers like "Tear-Stained Rebellion" add a touch of depth and reflection to the mix.
