Our Take

Ah, DEATH BAG – the self-titled album that's about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. From the moment you press play, you're hit with a tsunami of noise, attitude, and pure unadulterated punk energy.

The opening track, "Skull Crusher," sets the tone perfectly with its relentless barrage of distorted guitars and primal screams. It's like being smacked in the face with a brick, but in a strangely satisfying way.

As the album progresses, the intensity never lets up. Tracks like "Blood Bath Boogie" and "Gore Galore" are adrenaline-fuelled mosh-pit anthems that are guaranteed to leave you with a sore neck the next day.

But it's not all just noise and chaos. DEATH BAG show that they have some serious musical chops on tracks like "Corpse Bride Blues," where they demonstrate a surprising amount of melody and songwriting skill.
