Led by brothers Jon and Criss Oliva, Savatage burst onto the scene in the 1980s with their debut album, "Sirens." Throughout their career, Savatage has released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including "Gutter Ballet" and "Streets: A Rock Opera." But it hasn't always been smooth sailing for Savatage. Tragedy struck in 1993 when Criss Oliva was killed in a car accident, leaving a void in the band that would never truly be filled.
