Darkness Descends, the sophomore album from thrash metal outfit Dark Angel, is a relentless onslaught of raw energy and aggression that will leave listeners with their necks sore from headbanging. From the moment the needle hits the vinyl, the album grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go.
