As I sit down to listen to WE CAME AS ROMANS' latest offering, "Darkbloomin", I can't help but be reminded of a scene straight out of a Shakespearean play - all drama, passion, and over-the-top emotion. This album is a whirlwind of metalcore intensity, wrapped up in a symphonic bow that could make even the most stoic of listeners shed a tear.
From the moment the first track, "Wilted Soul", kicks in, I am transported to a world where breakdowns reign supreme and soaring clean vocals pierce through the chaos like a beacon of hope.
