Our Take

IDLES are back with their latest album "Crawler," and it's safe to say that they are not holding back. From the very first track, you are hit with a wall of sound that is as fierce and unapologetic as ever. This is not an album for the faint-hearted, but then again, when have IDLES ever been about playing it safe?

The band's signature ferocious energy is on full display here, with frontman Joe Talbot's vocals cutting through the noise like a knife. The lyrics are as biting and poignant as ever, tackling themes of politics, society, and personal struggles with their usual raw honesty.

Musically, "Crawler" sees IDLES pushing boundaries and experimenting with different sounds and textures. From the pounding drums of "The Wheel," to the haunting guitar riffs of "Pushing The Trolley," there is a sense of urgency and immediacy to the music that is impossible to ignore.
