Hellripper's latest album Coagulating Darkness is a headbanging journey through the depths of thrash metal hell. From the blistering riffs to the thunderous drums, this Scottish outfit has created a sonic assault that will leave you begging for more. Frontman James McBain's vocals are as vicious as ever, channeling the spirit of old-school metal gods like Slayer and Venom. The guitar work on tracks like "Conduit Closing" and "Within the Everlasting Hellfire" is absolutely blistering, with solos that would make Kerry King himself weep with joy. But what really sets Hellripper apart is their sense of humour. Tracks like "The Hanging Tree" and "Spectres of the Blood Moon Sabbath" blend macabre themes with tongue-in-cheek lyrics that will have you chuckling as you headbang along.
