Our Take

Cloud Nine by the Temptations is like a breath of fresh air on a rainy day in Manchester. This album fuses Motown soul with psychedelic funk in a way that only these legendary gentlemen can pull off.

From the funky bass lines that get your feet tapping to the smooth harmonies that make you feel like you're floating on a cloud, Cloud Nine takes you on a musical journey that you won't want to end.

Each track on this album is a banger in its own right, but the standout for me has to be "Runaway Child, Running Wild." The way the vocals soar over the driving groove is pure magic.
