Ah, Cicada Rhythm, where do we even begin? This duo from Athens, Georgia has really outdone themselves with their latest album, aptly titled "Cicada Rhythmin". From the moment you press play, you're transported to a whimsical world where folk meets blues meets indie pop in the most delightful way possible. The chemistry between Andrea DeMarcus and Dave Kirslis is simply electric, with their harmonies sending shivers down your spine. Tracks like "Do Not Destroy" and "Shake Up" showcase DeMarcus' hauntingly beautiful vocals, while Kirslis' intricate guitar work adds a layer of depth that is truly mesmerising. And let's not forget the clever lyrics that weave tales of heartache, longing, and everything in between. But it's not all melancholy and introspection with Cicada Rhythm.
