Our Take

Ah, Christmas Hits - the compilation album that brings together the best and worst of the festive season. As we delve into this musical treasure trove, we are greeted with a smorgasbord of holiday classics, from the timeless carols to the cheesy pop anthems.

First up, we have the perennial favourite "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. The queen of Christmas herself delivers a powerhouse performance that is sure to get even the biggest Scrooge in the holiday spirit. Her powerhouse vocals soar over the jingling bells and upbeat tempo, making this track an instant classic.

Next, we have the questionable addition of "Santa Baby" by Eartha Kitt. While Kitt's sultry vocals may be a hit with the older crowd, the outdated lyrics about expensive gifts and materialism leave a sour taste in our mouths. Sorry Eartha, but we'll be giving this one a skip this year.
