Chicago's latest holiday offering, "Chicago Christmas", is like a festive fruitcake - full of different flavours, some you'll love and some you'll pick around. As soon as you press play, you're transported to a winter wonderland of soaring horns, jazzy piano, and smooth vocals - all trademark Chicago sounds. It's like being wrapped in a warm Christmas hug from your cool uncle who still wears leather jackets. The album kicks off with the classic "Sleigh Ride", giving it a funky twist that will have you tapping your toes and shaking your jingle bells. But then things take a bizarre turn with "Here We Come A-Caroling", which sounds like a drunken sing-along at the local pub.
