Our Take

Ah, the latest album from Eastman-Rochester Orchestra, or should I say Chadwick/Symphonicin, is a rollercoaster of sound and emotion. Like a sonic puzzle, this record pieces together classical influences with a modern twist that keeps you guessing at every turn.

From the first note, you are transported to a world where violins harmonize with synthesizers and cellos dance with drum machines. It's a musical concoction that shouldn't work, but somehow, it does.

The standout track, "Symphony No. 3 in F major", is a swirling whirlwind of strings and brass that builds and builds until it reaches a crescendo that will leave you breathless.
