Our Take

Jan von Busch's latest album, "L'Organiste," is a rollercoaster of whimsical tunes that will have you dancing in your living room one minute and absolutely bewildered the next. The German composer has truly outdone himself with this eclectic mix of genres that blend together in a cacophony of sound that can only be described as avant-garde.

The album opens with "Prelude in D Minor," a hauntingly beautiful piece that sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, we are taken on a journey through a series of experimental tracks that push the boundaries of traditional music.

Tracks like "Scherzo in G Major" and "Fugue in C Major" showcase von Busch's impressive skills as a musician, while also leaving us scratching our heads in confusion. The unconventional time signatures and unexpected chord progressions keep the listener on their toes throughout the entire album.

While "L'Organiste" may not be for everyone, fans of experimental music will find plenty to love in this quirky and innovative album. Jan von Busch has once again proven why he is considered a master of his craft, and we can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
