Our Take

Accademia Ottoboni had me at hello, or should I say, Light And Darkness had me at the first note. The flute sonatas performed by Manuel Granatiero, Marco Ceccato, and Yu Yashima are pure magic. It's like they took a stroll through a musical garden and picked only the most exquisite flowers to present to us.

Each track on this album is a journey through light and dark, with the musicians guiding us through twists and turns that keep us on the edge of our seats. Granatiero's flute playing is mesmerising, effortlessly weaving in and out of the intricate melodies with ease. Ceccato's cello adds a rich depth to the music, grounding us in the emotional core of each piece.
