About the artist

Carey Blyton

Carey Blyton may not be a household name, but the British composer and musician has left an indelible mark on the music world. With a career spanning over five decades, Blyton found success in a variety of genres, from classical to pop to folk. Born into a musical family (his uncle was the renowned children's author Enid Blyton), Carey Blyton was destined for greatness. He studied at the Royal College of Music in London before embarking on a prolific career that saw him composing music for TV shows, films, and even a ballet based on George Orwell's "Animal Farm." But it was perhaps his quirky and irreverent approach to music that truly set him apart. Known for his playful melodies and unconventional song structures, Blyton's music has a sense of whimsy that is both endearing and infectious. Despite his impressive body of work, Carey Blyton remains somewhat of a hidden gem in the music world. But for those in the know, his music is a treasure trove of delightfully off-kilter compositions that continue to captivate and inspire. So, if you're looking to add a touch of whimsy to your music collection, look no further than Carey Blyton.
