Our Take

PESSIMIST's latest release, "Call To War," is a blistering assault on the eardrums that will have you throwing up devil horns in no time. The album kicks off with the title track, a furious barrage of blast beats and grinding riffs that sets the tone for what's to come.

The band's signature blend of death metal and black metal is on full display here, with guttural vocals and aggressive guitar work that will leave you feeling like you've been hit by a freight train. Tracks like "Rise of the Fallen" and "March of the Damned" showcase PESSIMIST's ability to create intense, dark atmospheres that are sure to send shivers down your spine.

But it's not all doom and gloom on "Call To War." The band also shows off their more melodic side on tracks like "Lost Souls" and "Into the Abyss," adding some dynamic range to the album.

Overall, "Call To War" is a ferocious, unrelenting beast of an album that will leave you wanting more. PESSIMIST may be living up to their name, but there's nothing negative about the impact of this record. Tune in, drop out, and prepare for battle with PESSIMIST.
