The trio consists of Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake on guitar and vocals, and Carl Palmer on drums. Formed in the early 1970s, ELP quickly made a name for themselves with their intricate and virtuosic blend of classical, jazz, and rock influences. Emerson's lightning-fast fingers on the keys, Lake's smooth vocals and bass playing, and Palmer's thunderous drumming combined to create an unforgettable sound that solidified their place in the annals of rock history.
