Our Take
Ah, The Black Crowes. A band that's been around longer than your grandma's knitting group, yet still manages to surprise us with their latest offering, Before the Frost... Until the Freeze. This double album is like a musical rollercoaster, taking us on a journey through the highs and lows of rock 'n' roll. The first half, Before the Frost, hits you like a punch in the face (but in a good way, of course). From the bluesy riffs of "Good Morning Captain" to the psychedelic vibes of "I Ain't Hiding", it's clear that the Crowes haven't lost their touch. The raw energy and soulful vocals of Chris Robinson are enough to make you want to grow your hair out and join a jam band.
