About the artist

Beck, Bogert and Appice

Beck / Bogert / Appice With enough rockstar swagger to power a stadium, Beck / Bogert / Appice exploded onto the music scene in the early 1970s like a sonic supernova. Made up of the incomparable trio of guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck, bassist extraordinaire Tim Bogert, and drumming legend Carmine Appice, this powerhouse collaboration was a force to be reckoned with. Individually, these musicians had already made their mark on the industry. Jeff Beck, known for his blistering guitar solos and innovative approach to rock music, had already solidified his place as a guitar god. Tim Bogert, with his thunderous bass playing, brought a raw energy that was unparalleled. And Carmine Appice, known for his powerhouse drumming and showmanship, added the perfect driving force behind the rhythm section. Together, Beck / Bogert / Appice created music that was a fusion of blues, rock, and funk that was unlike anything else at the time. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1973, showcased their incredible musicianship and chemistry, with tracks like "Black Cat Moan" and "Superstition" becoming instant classics. Unfortunately, the band's time together was short-lived, but their impact on the music world cannot be understated. Beck / Bogert / Appice may have been a brief moment in musical history, but it was a moment that will never be forgotten. The legacy of their collaboration lives on in the hearts of rock fans everywhere, a testament to the power of true musical talent. Long live Beck / Bogert / Appice.
