Our Take

Ah, the REYTONS have burst onto the scene with their debut album "Ballad Of A Bystander" like a pint glass being smashed in a rowdy Sheffield pub. And what a raucous, infectious ride it is. From the opening track "Bystander Anthem", with its pounding drums and gritty guitars, to the closing notes of "End Credits", the REYTONS prove that they are not just bystanders in the music industry - they are here to shake things up. Lead singer Jonny Yaffa's raspy vocals and cheeky lyrics are a perfect match for the band's energetic sound, reminiscent of early Arctic Monkeys with a dash of Oasis swagger. Tracks like "Three Blind Mice" and "Don't Wake Up the Neighbours" are catchy as hell, while "Yorkshire Pudding" brings a touch of cheeky humour to the mix. But it's not all fun and games - there are moments of introspection too, like in the haunting ballad "Empty Streets" and the soulful "Reflections". The band's ability to switch gears effortlessly is a testament to their talent and diverse influences. Overall, "Ballad Of A Bystander" is a rollicking good time from start to finish. So grab a pint, turn up the volume, and let the REYTONS soundtrack your next night out. Cheers!
