Our Take

As the self-appointed ruler of all things quirky and indie, it should come as no surprise that my ears perked up at the latest offering from FUTUREBIRDS, "Baba Yaga." This Georgia-based band has been flying under the radar for far too long, but perhaps this album will finally be the potion to propel them into the mainstream.

From the opening notes of the title track, it's clear that FUTUREBIRDS have perfected their brand of psychedelic folk rock.
