Our Take
Slayer recently took to the stage at the Big 4 Festival and proceeded to melt faces, blow minds, and reignite our love for thrash metal in a blaze of fire and brimstone. With their signature blend of ear-splitting guitars, thunderous drums, and demonic vocals, Slayer reminded us why they are legends in the heavy metal world. From the moment they launched into classics like "Raining Blood" and "Angel of Death," the crowd was whipped into a frenzy, headbanging and moshing with wild abandon. Guitarists Kerry King and Gary Holt shredded their way through blistering solos, while bassist Tom Araya held down the fort with his menacing growls. Despite their decades-long career, Slayer showed no signs of slowing down, delivering a tight and ferocious set that left no doubt that they still reign supreme as one of the most formidable bands in metal. Drummer Paul Bostaph proved his worth behind the kit, keeping the relentless pace and bringing the thunder with every blast beat.
