In a world where orchestras are a dime a dozen, Joe Morris Orchestra truly stands out like a sparkly sequined trumpet in a sea of boring clarinets. Their latest album, "Anytime / Anyplace / Anywhere," is a rollercoaster of emotions and musical styles that left me frantically waving my arms in the air like I just don't care.

From the moment the first note hit my eardrums, I knew I was in for a wild ride. The album kicks off with a bang, with tracks like "Groove Train" and "Funky Town" making me want to strut down the street like I own the place. But just when you think you've got them pegged as a one-trick pony, they hit you with the smooth jazz vibes of "Moonlit Serenade" and "Midnight Rendezvous."

The real standout of the album, though, is the epic 15-minute funk opus "Boogie Wonderland." It's like if Earth, Wind & Fire and Parliament-Funkadelic had a love child, and that love child decided to start a revolution on the dance floor.
