Anita O'Day's "An Evening With Anita" is like a refreshing G&T on a hot summer's day - smooth, sophisticated, and guaranteed to leave you feeling fabulous. This limited edition release of the jazz icon's live recordings is a real treat for fans old and new, with four bonus tracks thrown in for good measure.
O'Day's vocals are as flawless as ever, effortlessly gliding through classics like "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Tea for Two" with her trademark saucy charm. The band behind her is on fire, their swinging rhythms and brassy solos perfectly complementing her mellow tones.
